Batch hardware update

Hi Community!

I am interested in finding out how we can backup and update the hardware in a batch process.

Specifically, we have around 50 Groove Rio devices, and updating the hardware one by one is quite tedious. I’m wondering if there is a tool or script that can help automate this process.

Batch updates would be super helpful. There was another post on this topic about a year ago.

Unattended updates of Groov Rio?

Has anyone done a remote application to run unattended firmware updates to Groov Rio devices via ssh? Is this possible? Do we have a command list to try if not?

This is a feature request we have heard before and we have in mind for a future time.
We are also keeping in mind the other feature request of off-line USB stick firmware updates.
Right now, I don’t even know of a shell (ssh) backdoor to pull this off.

There is certainly interest in batch updates, but I don’t know whether Opto 22 currently has allocated resources to add this capability. Check back later.
