Unattended updates of Groov Rio?

Has anyone done a remote application to run unattended firmware updates to Groov Rio devices via ssh? Is this possible? Do we have a command list to try if not?

This is a feature request we have heard before and we have in mind for a future time.
We are also keeping in mind the other feature request of off-line USB stick firmware updates.
Right now, I don’t even know of a shell (ssh) backdoor to pull this off.

This is a feature we would use extensively if it was available.

If you can remotely connect to it to push a firmware update via a script, then you can connect to via a browser and click two buttons… So there really is a lot more to it than just replacing two browser button clicks… But yeah, we hear ya’all.

I have about 20 RIO’s scattered over 1500 miles. If even a ssh push feature can be made available that would be a game changer.

Feel free to explore the groov Manage URL APIs that each click uses. (Hint, use your browser developer tools).
You might be able to script a remote firmware push / update.
