Hey folks —
I’ve been building a free, open-source MQTT desktop client called TopicBench, and I wanted to share it here in case it’s useful alongside Opto 22 / groov / EPIC setups (or any broker you’re already using).
It’s aimed at day-to-day MQTT work: multi-broker connections, a live topic tree, publish with QoS/retain, stickies/graphs for values you care about, search, TLS/WSS — that kind of thing. If you’re poking at tags over raw MQTT topics, it’s a handy second window next to Node-RED / SCADA / whatever else you already run. I use MQTT daily and wanted something better than the other free explorers out there, so this was my solution. I hope it’s useful for others.
Honest caveat: TopicBench does not speak Sparkplug B yet so won’t decode the Sparkplug — but if you’re on plain MQTT topics, its great.

Happy to hear feedback from anyone trying it against Opto brokers or related MQTT gear. Thanks!
