Time Changed Randomly on Opto 22

I have an Opto 22 running Ignition. I was checking historical data and notice my data on my main gateway was not changing. Came to found out the Edge device (Opto 22) talking to it was at a different time. The main gateway was at 5 pm and the Opto was at 3 am. When the data started freezing on the main gateway.

Any idea why this happened? I updated the clock and data came in correctly. Data is off by a large chunk of time now.

Are you using the groov EPIC? The time should not just change on them randomly. The log files on the EPIC may tell why the time jumped.

Did you update the time in groov Manage? Is NTP enabled?

Groove Epic PR2. Will have to look. For all I know, someone onsite updated the clock. Highly unlikely.

The time was manually updated when deployed. NTP is not enabled. Will double check.

Was the controller running a strategy that updated the time automatically after the time was manually set at deployment?
