Has anyone installed a 3rd party data historian to work with their Opto22 SNAP PAC system? I’m currently looking at AVEVA PI and Canary as options. I’d be interested in hearing about issues and successes, and any infrastructure details that anyone would be willing to share. I have history using PI with a past employer, but the Canary system seems to have many of the same features at a fraction of the cost. I’d also like to hear pros and cons associated with other data historians people have used.
