On the Groov EPIC If I write to a file. Where and how do I access it on the Groov EPIC

Vague question, so here are some forum posts to hopefully get you started, then we can narrow down what you are wanting to do if they don’t answer all your questions…

This one talks about reading and writing to a USB stick plugged into the EPIC. If you don’t want to use the USB stick, just change the path to the one you see in groov Manage.

EPIC read / write to USB Memory Stick via PACControl

Having an issue reading and writing to a USB Memory stick tied to the EPIC via PACControl. Unless I missed something this should work. Groov Manage: USB Setup Enable USB set Automount set Permission unsecured (originally had this as secured and thought this was the solution - it wasn’t unless we need to reboot the EPIC). This one talks about doing the reading/writing from PAC Control. The bug the guys talk about has been fixed and so you should be running BOTH the very latest EPIC firmware and PAC Control software.

Add sub-directory to /unsecured

Update and ‘closure’ on this thread / issue. Its been fixed in groov EPIC firmware 2.0.2 or better. Here is the KB; Opto22 - KB88831 The error returned varied for some depending on how the command was used, but generally -417 was the main error thrown. Long story short, you can now create sub-directories from within PAC Control. No more shell needed.
