My USB mouse works fine in groov View, but for any sort of data entry, the on-screen numeric keyboard always pops up and the user has to “click” to enter the various numbers. See two screenshots below. Is this because my USB keyboard is not playing nice with the EPIC? Anything obvious l missed during the setup?
I think I have noticed this as well.
You mean that the ‘focus’ is not put on the data entry field and you have to click there to get the cursor so you can enter data?
No, that’s intentional at the moment. groov View’s a JavaScript application running in the web browser, and has no way of knowing whether you have a keyboard plugged in or not. So when we’re running within the local web browser on the PR1, we pop up the virtual keyboard for any input.
