TCP ports and Network Switches

In terms of network devices, I still can’t grasp if it is able to block data depending on ports criteria.

Computer devices like PC, laptops, and EPIC, has a firewall settings where you can allow or block inbound or outbound port. You can set it up on firewall setting of device.

How about when these computers are connected to a network switch. Are the switch able to block data depending on its IP Address and Ports? If yes, generally how do you do this and what do you call application that does this?

Regards,

What is ‘it’ you are referring to?
PAC R?
PAC S?
AR1?

Generally, no a switch does not block IP/UDP ports (exception: a layer 3 switch can be configured to do this)

Typically you would use a router/firewall to block ports outside of your devices.
