System tags for user information

I like the “visibility” feature in Groov view that allows me to hide a gadget based on a tag value. What would make it even more useful is if there were “user” tags available under “System” - “groov”. For example, if I could change visibility based on the user role or group, I could hide some configuration gadgets that not everyone needs or should see.

Is there another way to accomplish this? I currently create duplicate pages with the permissions I need but that becomes a maintenance hassle.

You are going about it the only way I know how.
I just build two pages of those that need that sort of ‘selection’. One page for the managers with ‘read only’ gadgets on it, and one for the operator with control buttons / sliders etc.

Until we get groov View user awareness, I am not sure there is any other work around.
