Snap-PAC R2 firmware

Hey All,
My customer has 2 Snap-PAC-R2 controllers running and I need to enable RestAPI in both. One is running firmware version R9.4c and the other has version R8.4d.

Before jumping off and updating these I would like to ask if these two controllers can handle the latest firmware that allows Rest or might they be too old?

To the best of my knowledge, there are no hardware limits to the REST API firmware on the R2 controllers.
Do your usual backup of data, upgrade them and start developing your application in confidence.
