I am running my strategy in an EPIC Controller and I am also using a Snap Pac with a EB2 Brain as an IO Point. I am trying to configure the analog modules of the Snap Pac as 4-20mA type in Pac Control but it does not let me change it. In Pac Manager it does let me select it as a 4-20mA type. How can I assure that I will measure 4-20mA sensors correctly?
You have it set up correctly.
The module is set to the full range, but you have correctly rescaled it.
PAC Manager is not smart enough to read the actual module type, so it just lets you set any range, which is not always the right thing to do.
Not only that, but once you download the strategy, PAC Control will overwrite what PAC Manager is seeing.
So, you have it correct. Once you download it, you will have it set for 4 to 20 mA.
