RPM Monitoring with Groov Epic

Good day, Is there a simple way to show the frequency in groov view. I am using a standard pick up coil on an engine flywheel wired into a digital input card. It reads frequency well when selecting the proper feature but i cannot show it on groov view…

i want to show engine rpm on a gadget but it does not work. I cannot find any way to select the frequency as the input…

Since its a digital feature and those are not mapped (as you have found).
Put the frequency into a PAC Control variable in a chart at a regular (but sane) period and add that variable to your groov View screen.

You could also lookup the memory map address and display it that way.

I came upon this is Node red.

Is there a way to use node red instead of pac control? (we are only using node red at the moment.

This screenshot was taken into our Alarm mapping page in node red.

It would be simpler to read the feature directly from groov.

Look up the address in the groov Manage MMP calculator:

Then add the tag in groov build:
