Is the power used by OPTO22’s S1, R1 and EB1 to be linear? Can the switching power supply with good quality be used?

So to answer your question directly, no, you do not have to use a linear supply, a good quality switching supply is fine.
The SNAP-PS5 is what we recommend and it is a switching supply.
