Same procedure you should do when doing a firmware update:
One thing I would emphasize is to use OptoTagPreserve to backup your persistent variables and restore them. That only gets a small mention in the document and is easy to miss. You will need a copy of the latest strategy as well. This isn’t something that is able to be retrieved from the controller by default.
