Pac Project 10.5g

Beno,

What happened to the latches displays in Pac Control Run Time?

When did this happen?

Does Opto think that no one uses latches anymore?

Seems like one more step away from machine automation…

Can you give us a little bit more to go on?

Im not sure what you are looking for, or what you are not seeing.
Here is what I see:

Are these the latches display you are referring to?

Wow, not what Dave and I saw. When we opened it in run time just as you show, it was actually only showing only the state line and communication section…

Is there some debug level button that affects this?

No.

You sure the module you are looking at supports hardware latching?
Not all of them do.

Well, I think we checked that at the time, it is an EB2 with a IDC5 module.

Yep, Opened the copy and it is EB2/IDC5. The really odd thing here is when I was checking these inputs in the push button panel, I could have sworn these were all AC circuits, even though the fuse blocks had 24vdc labels on them. I was thrown by that and checked and I’m pretty sure they were ac. When I just checked the IO, they were all dc inputs. I have to wonder if the orignal contractor switched these to AC inputs…
On the other hand, even if that were the case, EB2 probably would not have noticed any diff between these two. Should have popped up the latching display.

If I get up there again, I’ll be sure and check it again, at least as you indicated, nothing has changed in Pac Control.

This was done in win11 btw.
