PAC Control Chart Freezing Observed Using Pure White Screen Background

Hi everyone,

Pure white blank screen has been incredibly helpful in analyzing and identifying screen issues while troubleshooting my current problem in PAC Control. I’m working on a SNAP-PAC project, and everything was running smoothly until recently when I made a few changes to a control chart. Using the White Screen, I observed that whenever I try to run the updated strategy, the chart freezes after a few seconds.

I have already checked the following:

  • Variables and tags used in the updated chart seem to match what’s in the strategy.
    -The logic appears to be error-free, and there are no compile issues.
  • I have restarted the controller and re-downloaded the strategy multiple times, but the problem persists.

Has anyone experienced similar freezing issues after making updates? Could this be a problem with resource usage or perhaps something else I’m overlooking?

What I usually do when such things happen after making changes to a PAC Control strategy, I download the cersion before I made the changes again, to see if the “strange” behaviour goes away.

I don’t really understand what you mean with “Pure white blank screen”

What do you mean with “the chart freezes after a few seconds”? Is the logic not working anymore? Perhaps you are missing a connection to close the loop in the flowchart and it just runs into a dead end block.

Is this on a SNAP-PAC or groov EPIC System?
