NodeRED monitoring optical fiber traffic

i want to monitor an optical fiber network traffic using NodeRED. is there someone who can assist with this….?

Seems to me that you would need a router to make that happen. Of course you could use a router to monitor/inspect and alarm network traffic event events that occur and then send those alarms to node-red. Node-red is way-way too slow to inspect any network traffic, regardless if fiber or not.
