Node-red to Codesys

Good afternoon everyone,

I would like to ask you about some help with Node-red. As you can see, my node-red’s project below. I want to read .txt file and send it to codesys using a modbus. My problem is, that I don’t know how to convert it to get it in codesys as an array of words. I have found this Topic, on the forum, but it’s not clear to me.

Yes, having the file as a CSV for starters would be amazing, but… it depends on if that can be automated or not. If not, then we can probably deal with it as it is (but for sure CSV will be a LOT better as you will see). So, here is how I would attack it… Node-RED has a file in node. Seems it would be easier to read it into Codesys and handle it there?

Yes, Codesys can write to files directly. Here are some file utility example projects

One thing to keep in mind in codesys when writing to the unsecured location, you may need to use " home/codesys/unsecured" . Codesys access to “home/dev/unsecured” was added in 3.4.1.
