Loosing Connection from groovView to Pac Control

My Setup

My setup is with a groovEPIC system connected to a PC via a local subnet. The software is PAC Control with three Charts running; one chart for screen IO, another for communicating to the a device, and a third running a FSM. I access groovView through a chrome browser on the PC. The subnet is also connected to a device that is controlled through its ethernet port on the same subnet.

Problem

Intermittently the groovView applications will lose connectivity to PAC Control program. To get connectivity back I have to restart the system groovManage application.

How do I stop this from happening?

If required, I can send my log files…

Thank You,

Dale Marion

Have you reviewed the finite state machine to look for deadlock? Have you stepped through the debugger?

What do the yellow triangles in groov View show when it disconnects and you click on them?
What do the groov View logs show when it disconnects?

We suggest you contact our support folks for questions like this.

There are no errors in the debugger, syntax or run time.

There are no yellow triangles in groov View when it disconnect. Here is a section of the groov View logs where I believe the problem occurred.

Seems to me that your user session is getting invalidated. You should be signed out and returned to the sign in screen, but that’s not happening. Did you set a session time out in the account that’s signed into groov View? If you increase the session time out, does the problem occur later?

So all the data on the screen just looks normal?
It just does not update?
Is that possible @Jonathan_Fischer ?

If not the yellow triangles, what does it look like when groov View loses connection to your PAC Control strategy?
