Keyence LR-W500 Sensor to SNAP-IDC5?

I’m hoping somebody may be able to help out a total noob on the hardware side of things… My company recently purchased a Keyence LR-W500 sensor. As far as I can tell, I should be able to wire it into a SNAP-IDC5 input module, but I know very little about wiring. I would be eternally grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction.

The LR-W500 can be configured wither NPN or PNP. I’m not sure which option is best. Here’s the extent of the wiring diagram that came in the instructions:
LR-W500_1

I currently have a PAC-R1 controller and a SNAP-IDC5 input module with nothing attached to it. I think I need a 24 V DC power supply for the LR-W500, which I also have. Can anybody give a suggestion about which of the LR-W500 wires need to be connected to the power supply and which to the IDC5 module?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Previous reply is correct.
I refer to its catalog below:

NPN means, you are giving zero volts to IDC5 to complete circuit.
PNP means, you are giving 24 volts to IDC5 to complete the circuit.
Complete circuit means you are trigering IDC5.

Hope this helps too.
