Ignition with older Mistic controllers

I have a project coming up where a plant wants to integrate its HMI’s and tag data into Ignition. However, some of the controllers are from the Mistic family. I know that Cirrus Link has a module that will pull tag data from Groov Epics and Snap Pac controllers but is there a way to get data from the Mistic protocol? Would I have to pass tag data from the Mistic controller to a Snap Pac or Groov then pull the tags from there?

Thanks

@jonathan.fields The Ignition driver for Opto 22 controllers is for PAC Control based controllers. It is not supporting the legacy mistic hardware.

What exact mistic or Opto 22 controll and I/O are installed at this plant? Perhaps they can keep the I/Os and just upgrade the controller to a SNAP-PAC-S1 or S2. Those controllers are supporting the legacy serial based I/O, and can be connected to Ignition.

There are migration guides available

Once you know what hardware is installed, we can be more specific
