Ignition Edge Does Not Support DNP3 Master?

Hi OptoForums,

Can Someone Clarify This for Me?
I have a few questions regarding Ignition Edge and DNP3 Master support:

  1. Does Ignition Edge support DNP3 Master functionality?
  2. Is there a way to enable DNP3 Master support in Ignition Edge?
  3. What are the alternative solutions for making groov EPIC a DNP3 Master?

I’d really appreciate any insights or recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Ignition Edge supports DNP3 Master on EPIC or RIO 2. Here is a link to the manual.

From Ignition Version 8.1.36 there seems to be a new version of the DNP 3 Driver. With Firmware 3.6 on EPIC or RIO-2, there is Ignition Edge version 8.1.21 available. It will get a major lift to 8.1.4x in a few weeks, with support for the latest DNP 3 Drive then.
