I am trying to access the serial ports from Ignition running on the Epic.
I have tried both the usb ports AND the serial module on slot 3.
I only ever get an error about not able to open the port.
Any advice?

Do you have the Ignition serial module installed?
I might be out of date, but last time I did anything like this (Some years back), I had to make sure the module is installed.
