I want Help with Groov EPIC Setup for New Project

Hey everyone,

I am diving into a new project using the Groov EPIC & I am pretty excited about the possibilities but I am still getting the hang of it. I have been working through the initial setup and configuring a few inputs/outputs but I am hitting a few roadblocks. I am having trouble with integrating some sensors and getting the correct readings on the dashboard. I have been following the manuals but maybe I am missing something along the way.

I want to hear from anyone who is worked on similar setups. Are there any tips or common pitfalls to watch out for when using the EPIC with sensors? Also, how do you manage network connections and security best practices when setting up remote access? I am also looking into integrating with Google Cloud Platform for data storage and analysis so if anyone has experience with that, I woul appreciate any pointers.

Also i have check this How do i send email with Node-Red using Groov Epic-PR1? witch is good still need help.

Thank you…

Welcome to the OptoForums.
Sorry your first post got caught in our spam filter, including the two links in your first post, one of which was to a blog vs official Google docs is the reason it got flagged.

Can you expand a bit on what type of sensors?
Digital or Analog?
Input or Output?
4-20mA or DC etc
Is your ‘trouble’ with wiring or configuration or scaling etc… Just need a little more information to help us help you.

In regard to the question about Node-RED email, yes, it is still a good video to watch.
The forums are also a great resource. The search works really well, here is an example of search result, I am confident you will find more great emailing from Node-RED example code in the posts: Search results for '#node-red email' - OptoForums

This video goes into more detail about sending emails with Node Red and you can find helpful networking guides and information in our Cybersecurity Resources page
