Related: in OptoScript, if you want to have an invisible space (vs. the “—” you get for an empty string), you can use code like this: sEmptyLooking = chr( 0x7F );

Ok, groov software engineers suggest that “it should work to embed newline characters (ASCII 10, or 0xA) in the string” coming from the controller. (If you can let us know how this works out, we would be grateful - I will have a crack at it when I can, but it could be a while).
