Update:
After restarting the EPIC to factory it went back to 2.0.2b 139 fw, no issues, then I updated module firmware (only one was behind GRV-IMA-24) Julio sugested updating to the first 3.x firmware and it worked. After a couple of hours I updated to 3.4.4-b.128, recovered project and it is working with no issues so far. Makes no sense but the IMA-24 firmware behind could have caused this? (GROOV was reading min/max when the problem started, we lost those values on screen, that is when we figured something was wrong).
Odd for sure, but no, any module firmware version wont impact an OS upgrade.
