Hello,

Are there any plans to make the user permissions more robust?

Currently if our users need to power cycle the device, they will hit the physical switch on the front of the Groov Epic.

That’s not necessarily the best option, and we would like them to go to System>Restart. The only issue is that I can’t give them access to “System” without giving them access to everything.

I’m willing to take suggestions/workarounds for this as well.

I second the need for more robust permissions. I’d like to give my maintenance techs access to the I/O modules (some need simple view/toggle access, others may need full config access) without giving them full admin access.

You can use rest API to reset the Epic the same way using groov Manage does using Node Red and POST https://Your Controller/manage/api/v1/system/restart
