Groov Epic PR2 - Ignition Edge - Data sync not working

I am having issues with the data sync portion of the Ignition Edge on the Opto22 groov epic. For some reason after deleting the database on the master Ignition gateway side, and then reconnecting the system to a new database, the data sync (store & forward) system is broken. I tried resetting the sync id, but it has stayed frozen at 0 since the reset. Is there anything I can do on the opto side to try to fix the issue?

How would I upgrade the version of Ignition Edge on the Groov?

Our firmware updates are monolithic, you cannot upgrade just the Ignition Edge instance on the groov EPIC. We are working on a new firmware release that will update Ignition Edge on the EPIC to 8.1.4X

How would I be able to reset Ignition Edge to factory state on the Groov?

You can perform a factory reset of the unit using steps in the EPIC User’s Guide. Remember to remove your Ignition Edge license and backup everything.

Is there not a way to reset only the Ignition software to factory state? I would have to reset the entire controller?

The Inductive Ignition software is factory standard on EPIC and RIO.
I’m just doing a Google on how to reset it when running on Linux…
