Is there a way to have the Groov Epic read HART communication protocol for flowmeters?
Unfortunately there is no native way for groov devices to communicate using HART protocol. You would need a 3rd party gateway that could convert the HART to a standard protocol such as Modbus.
Would it be theoretically possible to use an analog input card with the groov and try to decode hart signals? It is built on 4-20mA after all.
Epic hardware does not currently support 4-20ma HART. Yes, EPIC supports 4-20ma analog but not the digital portion that HART uses. At least not a this time.
