I’m fairly new to this.
I’m looking to see if updating the firmware to my controller it would improve the communication. what i mean by that, controller times out a lot whenever i try to connect to it.
I currently have this firmware R9.5h
And also, if I update the firmware for the SNAP-PAC-R1, i have two other I/O hooked up to it, SNAP-PAC-EB1. do I also have to update the firmware for those too?
Your SNAP-PAC-R1 controller is currently running R9.5h.
The current release is R10.4e, so you are a long way behind.
You can review the readme to see the updates between your version and the current release.
That said, sounds like something else is going on as we have a lot of customer still running your 9.5 firmware and are not having connection issues.
Sounds like you probably should contact our support group. They will be able to help you track down your networking issues.
