Firmware update on PR1 from 2.0.2 to 3.4.4 not succeeding

I’m trying to update the firmware on an older PR1 to 3.4.4 (ignition 7 version) - the firmware transfers and then at some point takes me to the manage login screen. I’ve tried this three times now. I’ve had this happen a number of times before on other units, but it usually works the second time.

Do I need to install an earlier version of the firmware first?

I would try to go from factory defaults if you’re having this much trouble. You should be able to go from 1.0 to 3.X without any issues, but speaking from experience I’ve done “things” in shell that have required a paperclip first.
