An Opto22 application? No.
But. I would expect that your IT guys would be right at home with SNMP.
For that, they could download our MIB file and go to town and monitor as much or as little as they want.
Or perhaps I misunderstand the intent of the question… What do they have in mind?
they are looking for vulnerabilities and patches need it see the thing is that they scan the rest of the system but not the EB1 brains and because they have IP address they need to scan them
Not sure what the point of that would be. If someone has network access to the EB1, they can do what they want with it. From an IT standpoint, if it is accessible, it is vulnerable. Best practice would be to have the brains and controllers on a trusted network, which would require physical security as well.
