Communication between 1734-AENT Point IO with EPIC

Hello,

Has anyone tried to communicate this AB Point IO Module with EPIC? I have this 1734-AENT + 3 slots for Analog Input, Digital Input and Digital Output modules. I tried using Node-Red with eth-ip node with no success.

There is no chance we could use a processor since we already have this EPIC.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a way you can communicate with ethernet/ip devices. You can use Codesys on the groov EPIC and the Codesys ethernet/ip scanner module. Codesys also has an example project related to integrating the 1734-AENT.

Thank you @greichert I will check it. I have the strategy in PAC Control. How would you use Codesys to have the communication done and then keep using PAC Control?

Unfortunately you cannot. You either have to use PAC Control or Codesys. PAC Control does not have the ability to communicate with ethernet/ip devices.
