Automatic GROOV Backups

Hello brains trust, after writing a small Task Scheduled Power Shell script to perform automatic backups and transfer of the PAC Control Files on our OT computer, I was racking my brain trying to think of a solution for the GROOV Epic config files and if there was a way of doing this without jumping into SSH and performing a tedious, possibly even unnecessary bandaid job in the backend.

My question is, has anyone discovered a way of performing automatic backups for the GROOV Epic configuration file?

I currently backup the file through the Groov Manage interface a few times a week, however for my own sanity I would lvoe to remove the manual aspect of this.

As is often the case… search on the forums returns the gold in the first hit…

And yes, it’s the same for EPIC and RIO (As far as I recall).
Let’s know how that works, be careful not to embed it toooooo deep in your process as it’s unsported.

On the topic of automated backups. I run Node-RED on a Windows PC so I can access Dropbox and run OptoTagPreserve from an exec node, so have automated nightly backups of SNAP and groov EPIC PAC Control variables via that method.
