I am getting ready to retire our groov AR1 and migrate to the EPIC PR1. I know to backup my AR1 groovView files and restore them on the new EPIC PR1. I searched the OptoForum for info on this topic didn’t see anything and the AR1 and EPIC user guide just says backup then restore. Simple, right? I don’t want to assume anything about doing something for the first time.
What I want to know is:
- What will not be backed up from the AR1 that I will need on the EPIC PR1 to make sure it works smoothly?
- What information should I manually document before turning off the AR1?
- Would it be a good idea to turn off the AR1 before restoring files to the EPIC PR1? Or, can they both co-exist on the network? They will have different IP and hostnames BTW.
I just want to make sure I have a smooth transition to the EPIC PR1.
