I have 650 analog inputs on SNAP-EB2 which I would like to log the current value to an Access or SQL database. Are there any limitations which may arise due to the large number of variables?

Re: OptoDataLink limitations
There is no hard limit to the number of tags that OptoDataLink can support.
Its just a case of the user interface gets busy with that many variables.
The best way to attack such a project is to add 6-8 variables in the usual manor. Then, save the project, noting the location.
Navigate to that location and you will find yourfilename.xml.
Open this file with a text editor and continue to add the variables using the same format as the ones you added.
I would, of course, test the project before I added too many variables.
