IS there a way of getting a wireless mouse and keyboard to work on the EPIC?

If by wireless you mean Bluetooth, then yes.
We have been using a few different sets of Bluetooth keyboard and mice here in the Opto office.
One of the more popular ones is a small keyboard with built in track-pad so only one USB dongle is needed.
