SNAP-AOVA-8 module and its SNAP-HD-20F6 cable

I am setting up a new system that has some of the AOVA-8 output modules installed. I look forward to using this module based on it’s apparent versatility. I have the corresponding, required cables and just want to comment about this combination.

I think the excitation voltage for this module should be separated from the outputs. With the premade cable, all of the flying leads come out together. Logically the outputs will land at a row of terminals going to my field devices. Excitation voltage is going to come from my power bus. These terminals are not necessarily located together within my control system.

Either a separate connector (like the AOA-iSRC), or split the two power leads from the cable would make for a good solution in my opinion.
