“How can I send an SMS or text message from a PAC Controller?”.
The answer is as easy as sending an email from a controller.
Once you have that working, simply look up this web page and find out how to structure your email address to include your phone number.

I believe that here are other ways of doing this (like Google Voice for example), but I suspect that sending it as an email is the simplest.
