PAC Display 9.6 - PID Button CRASHES

I am programming a display for a good size pilot plant. I have encountered an issue where anytime I click on a PID button in runtime the program crashes and closes down. I currently have three configured, and all three buttons have the same issue. I tried deleting components in my PAC Display configuration until there was nothing left except the last PID button and it still crashed. I feel that I have checked most of the obvious settings for the PID loops in my strategy and still can’t seem to get it right. Has anyone experienced this and have any ideas as to how I can get these PID buttons working?

Thanks,

Joel

Hi, Joel. Could your problem be related to this KB article?
KB86622, PAC Display Runtime shuts down when a PID button is clicked
http://www.opto22.com/site/knowledgebase/kb_view_article.aspx?aid=3105

This issue was fixed in PAC Display R9.6d.
If that’s not the problem, let me know.

Gray
