Disable modbus comms for a device

Is there a way to temporarily disable the coms to a modbus device (offline for maintenance)? I think the answer is “No” and if that is the case, it would be nice to have an option when clicking on the yellow triangle to select “pause coms for this device for x time” to keep the groov from wasting time trying to communicate with a device that is offline.

That would be a nice option. We use a lot of power meters on generators which are not powered when the generator is offline and we disable modbus comms when its not running. It would be nice to do it with a trigger tag from the controller within groov.
